Capítulo 1
La creación
1:1 En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra.
1:2 Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía, y las tinieblas estaban sobre la faz del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la faz de las aguas.
1:3 Y dijo Dios: Sea la luz; y fue la luz.
1:4 Y vio Dios que la luz era buena; y separó Dios la luz de las tinieblas.
1:5 Y llamó Dios a la luz Día, y a las tinieblas llamó Noche. Y fue la tarde y la mañana un día.
1:6 Luego dijo Dios: Haya expansión en medio de las aguas, y separe las aguas de las aguas.
1:7 E hizo Dios la expansión, y separó las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansión, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansión. Y fue así.
1:8 Y llamó Dios a la expansión Cielos. Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día segundo.
1:9 Dijo también Dios: Júntense las aguas que están debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y descúbrase lo seco. Y fue así.
1:10 Y llamó Dios a lo seco Tierra, y a la reunión de las aguas llamó Mares. Y vio Dios que era bueno.
1:11 Después dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra hierba verde, hierba que dé semilla; árbol de fruto que dé fruto según su género, que su semilla esté en él, sobre la tierra. Y fue así.
1:12 Produjo, pues, la tierra hierba verde, hierba que da semilla según su naturaleza, y árbol que da fruto, cuya semilla está en él, según su género. Y vio Dios que era bueno.
1:13 Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día tercero.
1:14 Dijo luego Dios: Haya lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para separar el día de la noche; y sirvan de señales para las estaciones, para días y años,
1:15 y sean por lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra. Y fue así. 1:16 E hizo Dios las dos grandes lumbreras; la lumbrera mayor para que señorease en el día, y la lumbrera menor para que señorease en la noche; hizo también las estrellas.
1:17 Y las puso Dios en la expansión de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra,
1:18 y para señorear en el día y en la noche, y para separar la luz de las tinieblas. Y vio Dios que era bueno.
1:19 Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día cuarto.
1:20 Dijo Dios: Produzcan las aguas seres vivientes, y aves que vuelen sobre la tierra, en la abierta expansión de los cielos.
1:21 Y creó Dios los grandes monstruos marinos, y todo ser viviente que se mueve, que las aguas produjeron según su género, y toda ave alada según su especie. Y vio Dios que era bueno. 1:22 Y Dios los bendijo, diciendo: Fructificad y multiplicaos, y llenad las aguas en los mares, y multiplíquense las aves en la tierra.
1:23 Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día quinto.
1:24 Luego dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra seres vivientes según su género, bestias y serpientes y animales de la tierra según su especie. Y fue así.
1:25 E hizo Dios animales de la tierra según su género, y ganado según su género, y todo animal que se arrastra sobre la tierra según su especie. Y vio Dios que era bueno.
1:26 Entonces dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre a nuestra imagen, conforme a nuestra semejanza; y señoree en los peces del mar, en las aves de los cielos, en las bestias, en toda la tierra, y en todo animal que se arrastra sobre la tierra.
1:27 Y creó Dios al hombre a su imagen, a imagen de Dios lo creó; varón y hembra los creó.
1:28 Y los bendijo Dios, y les dijo: Fructificad y multiplicaos; llenad la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y señoread en los peces del mar, en las aves de los cielos, y en todas las bestias que se mueven sobre la tierra.
1:29 Y dijo Dios: He aquí que os he dado toda planta que da semilla, que está sobre toda la tierra, y todo árbol en que hay fruto y que da semilla; os serán para comer.
1:30 Y a toda bestia de la tierra, y a todas las aves de los cielos, y a todo lo que se arrastra sobre la tierra, en que hay vida, toda planta verde les será para comer. Y fue así.
1:31 Y vio Dios todo lo que había hecho, y he aquí que era bueno en gran manera. Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día sexto.

Chapter 1

1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.
1:3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
1:4 God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. There was evening and there was morning, one day.
1:6 God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."
1:7 God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse, and it was so.
1:8 God called the expanse sky. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.
1:9 God said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear," and it was so.
1:10 God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas. God saw that it was good.
1:11 God said, "Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with its seed in it, on the earth," and it was so.
1:12 The earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with its seed in it, after their kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:13 There was evening and there was morning, a third day.
1:14 God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;
1:15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of sky to give light on the earth," and it was so.
1:16 God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.
1:17 God set them in the expanse of sky to give light to the earth,
1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.
1:19 There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
1:20 God said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of sky."
1:21 God created the large sea creatures, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.
1:22 God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
1:23 There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
1:24 God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind," and it was so.
1:25 God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.
1:26 God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
1:27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.
1:28 God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
1:29 God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.
1:30 To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food." And it was so.
1:31 God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

1.8 Dieu appela l'étendue ciel. Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le second jour.
1.9 Dieu dit: Que les eaux qui sont au-dessous du ciel se rassemblent en un seul lieu, et que le sec paraisse. Et cela fut ainsi.
1.10 Dieu appela le sec terre, et il appela l'amas des eaux mers. Dieu vit que cela était bon.
1.11 Puis Dieu dit: Que la terre produise de la verdure, de l'herbe portant de la semence, des arbres fruitiers donnant du fruit selon leur espèce et ayant en eux leur semence sur la terre. Et cela fut ainsi.

1.13 Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le troisième jour.
1.14 Dieu dit: Qu'il y ait des luminaires dans l'étendue du ciel, pour séparer le jour d'avec la nuit; que ce soient des signes pour marquer les époques, les jours et les années;
1.15 et qu'ils servent de luminaires dans l'étendue du ciel, pour éclairer la terre. Et cela fut ainsi.
1.16Dieu fit les deux grands luminaires, le plus grand luminaire pour présider au jour, et le plus petit luminaire pour présider à la nuit; il fit aussi les étoiles.
1.17 Dieu les plaça dans l'étendue du ciel, pour éclairer la terre,
1.18 pour présider au jour et à la nuit, et pour séparer la lumière d'avec les ténèbres. Dieu vit que cela était bon.
1.19 Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le quatrième jour.
1.20 Dieu dit: Que les eaux produisent en abondance des animaux vivants, et que des oiseaux volent sur la terre vers l'étendue du ciel.
1.21 Dieu créa les grands poissons et tous les animaux vivants qui se meuvent, et que les eaux produisirent en abondance selon leur espèce; il créa aussi tout oiseau ailé selon son espèce. Dieu vit que cela était bon.
1.22 Dieu les bénit, en disant: Soyez féconds, multipliez, et remplissez les eaux des mers; et que les oiseaux multiplient sur la terre.
1.23 Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le cinquième jour.
1.24 Dieu dit: Que la terre produise des animaux vivants selon leur espèce, du bétail, des reptiles et des animaux terrestres, selon leur espèce. Et cela fut ainsi.
1.25 Dieu fit les animaux de la terre selon leur espèce, le bétail selon son espèce, et tous les reptiles de la terre selon leur espèce. Dieu vit que cela était bon.
1.26 Puis Dieu dit: Faisons l'homme à notre image, selon notre ressemblance, et qu'il domine sur les poissons de la mer, sur les oiseaux du ciel, sur le bétail, sur toute la terre, et sur tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre.
1.27 Dieu créa l'homme à son image, il le créa à l'image de Dieu, il créa l'homme et la femme.
1.28 Dieu les bénit, et Dieu leur dit: Soyez féconds, multipliez, remplissez la terre, et l'assujettissez; et dominez sur les poissons de la mer, sur les oiseaux du ciel, et sur tout animal qui se meut sur la terre.
1.29 Et Dieu dit: Voici, je vous donne toute herbe portant de la semence et qui est à la surface de toute la terre, et tout arbre ayant en lui du fruit d'arbre et portant de la semence: ce sera votre nourriture.
1.30 Et à tout animal de la terre, à tout oiseau du ciel, et à tout ce qui se meut sur la terre, ayant en soi un souffle de vie, je donne toute herbe verte pour nourriture. Et cela fut ainsi.
1.31 Dieu vit tout ce qu'il avait fait et voici, cela était très bon. Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le sixième jour.

Capítulo 2

2:1 Fueron, pues, acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo el ejército de ellos.
2:2 Y acabó Dios en el día séptimo la obra que hizo; y reposó el día séptimo de toda la obra que hizo.
2:3 Y bendijo Dios al día séptimo, y lo santificó, porque en él reposó de toda la obra que había hecho en la creación.
El hombre en el huerto del Edén
2:4 Estos son los orígenes de los cielos y de la tierra cuando fueron creados, el día que Jehová Dios hizo la tierra y los cielos,
2:5 y toda planta del campo antes que fuese en la tierra, y toda hierba del campo antes que naciese; porque Jehová Dios aún no había hecho llover sobre la tierra, ni había hombre para que labrase la tierra,
2:6 sino que subía de la tierra un vapor, el cual regaba toda la faz de la tierra.
2:7 Entonces Jehová Dios formó al hombre del polvo de la tierra, y sopló en su nariz aliento de vida, y fue el hombre un ser viviente.
2:8 Y Jehová Dios plantó un huerto en Edén, al oriente; y puso allí al hombre que había formado.
2:9 Y Jehová Dios hizo nacer de la tierra todo árbol delicioso a la vista, y bueno para comer; también el árbol de vida en medio del huerto, y el árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal.
2:10 Y salía de Edén un río para regar el huerto, y de allí se repartía en cuatro brazos.
2:11 El nombre del uno era Pisón; éste es el que rodea toda la tierra de Havila, donde hay oro; 2:12 y el oro de aquella tierra es bueno; hay allí también bedelio y ónice.
2:13 El nombre del segundo río es Gihón; éste es el que rodea toda la tierra de Cus.
2:14 Y el nombre del tercer río es Hidekel; éste es el que va al oriente de Asiria. Y el cuarto río es el Eufrates.
2:15 Tomó, pues, Jehová Dios al hombre, y lo puso en el huerto de Edén, para que lo labrara y lo guardase.
2:16 Y mandó Jehová Dios al hombre, diciendo: De todo árbol del huerto podrás comer;
2:17 mas del árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal no comerás; porque el día que de él comieres, ciertamente morirás.
2:18 Y dijo Jehová Dios: No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; le haré ayuda idónea para él.
2:19 Jehová Dios formó, pues, de la tierra toda bestia del campo, y toda ave de los cielos, y las trajo a Adán para que viese cómo las había de llamar; y todo lo que Adán llamó a los animales vivientes, ese es su nombre.
2:20 Y puso Adán nombre a toda bestia y ave de los cielos y a todo ganado del campo; mas para Adán no se halló ayuda idónea para él.
2:21 Entonces Jehová Dios hizo caer sueño profundo sobre Adán, y mientras éste dormía, tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar.
2:22 Y de la costilla que Jehová Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer, y la trajo al hombre. 2:23 Dijo entonces Adán: Esto es ahora hueso de mis huesos y carne de mi carne; ésta será llamada Varona, porque del varón fue tomada.
2:24 Por tanto, dejará el hombre a su padre y a su madre, y se unirá a su mujer, y serán una sola carne.
2:25 Y estaban ambos desnudos, Adán y su mujer, y no se avergonzaban.

Chapter 2

2:1 The heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:2 On the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
2:3 God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work which he had created and made.
2:4 This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh God made earth and the heavens.
2:5 No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Yahweh God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground, 2:6 but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground. 2:7 Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2:8 Yahweh God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9 Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2:10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became four heads.
2:11 The name of the first is Pishon: this is the one which flows through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
2:12 and the gold of that land is good. There is aromatic resin and the onyx stone.
2:13 The name of the second river is Gihon: the same river that flows through the whole land of Cush.
2:14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel: this is the one which flows in front of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
2:15 Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 2:16 Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat:
2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die."
2:18 Yahweh God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."
2:19 Out of the ground Yahweh God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.
2:20 The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper suitable for him.
2:21 Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
2:22 He made the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, into a woman, and brought her to the man.
2:23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
2:25 They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Chapitre 2

2.1 Ainsi furent achevés les cieux et la terre, et toute leur armée.
2.2 Dieu acheva au septième jour son oeuvre, qu'il avait faite: et il se reposa au septième jour de toute son oeuvre, qu'il avait faite.
2.3 Dieu bénit le septième jour, et il le sanctifia, parce qu'en ce jour il se reposa de toute son oeuvre qu'il avait créée en la faisant.
2.4 Voici les origines des cieux et de la terre, quand ils furent créés.
2.5 Lorsque l'Éternel Dieu fit une terre et des cieux, aucun arbuste des champs n'était encore sur la terre, et aucune herbe des champs ne germait encore: car l'Éternel Dieu n'avait pas fait pleuvoir sur la terre, et il n'y avait point d'homme pour cultiver le sol.
2.6 Mais une vapeur s'éleva de la terre, et arrosa toute la surface du sol.
2.7 L'Éternel Dieu forma l'homme de la poussière de la terre, il souffla dans ses narines un souffle de vie et l'homme devint un être vivant.
2.8 Puis l'Éternel Dieu planta un jardin en Éden, du côté de l'orient, et il y mit l'homme qu'il avait formé.
2.9 L'Éternel Dieu fit pousser du sol des arbres de toute espèce, agréables à voir et bons à manger, et l'arbre de la vie au milieu du jardin, et l'arbre de la connaissance du bien et du mal.
2.10 Un fleuve sortait d'Éden pour arroser le jardin, et de là il se divisait en quatre bras.
2.11 Le nom du premier est Pischon; c'est celui qui entoure tout le pays de Havila, où se trouve l'or.
2.12 L'or de ce pays est pur; on y trouve aussi le bdellium et la pierre d'onyx.
2.13 Le nom du second fleuve est Guihon; c'est celui qui entoure tout le pays de Cusch.
2.14 Le nom du troisième est Hiddékel; c'est celui qui coule à l'orient de l'Assyrie. Le quatrième fleuve, c'est l'Euphrate.
2.15 L'Éternel Dieu prit l'homme, et le plaça dans le jardin d'Éden pour le cultiver et pour le garder.
2.16 L'Éternel Dieu donna cet ordre à l'homme: Tu pourras manger de tous les arbres du jardin;
2.17 mais tu ne mangeras pas de l'arbre de la connaissance du bien et du mal, car le jour où tu en mangeras, tu mourras.
2.18 L'Éternel Dieu dit: Il n'est pas bon que l'homme soit seul; je lui ferai une aide semblable à lui.
2.19 L'Éternel Dieu forma de la terre tous les animaux des champs et tous les oiseaux du ciel, et il les fit venir vers l'homme, pour voir comment il les appellerait, et afin que tout être vivant portât le nom que lui donnerait l'homme.
2.20 Et l'homme donna des noms à tout le bétail, aux oiseaux du ciel et à tous les animaux des champs; mais, pour l'homme, il ne trouva point d'aide semblable à lui.
2.21 Alors l'Éternel Dieu fit tomber un profond sommeil sur l'homme, qui s'endormit; il prit une de ses côtes, et referma la chair à sa place.
2.22 L'Éternel Dieu forma une femme de la côte qu'il avait prise de l'homme, et il l'amena vers l'homme.
2.23 Et l'homme dit: Voici cette fois celle qui est os de mes os et chair de ma chair! on l'appellera femme, parce qu'elle a été prise de l'homme.
2.24 C'est pourquoi l'homme quittera son père et sa mère, et s'attachera à sa femme, et ils deviendront une seule chair.
2.25 L'homme et sa femme étaient tous deux nus, et ils n'en avaient point honte.

Capítulo 3
Desobediencia del hombre

3:1 Pero la serpiente era astuta, más que todos los animales del campo que Jehová Dios había hecho; la cual dijo a la mujer: ¿Conque Dios os ha dicho: No comáis de todo árbol del huerto?
3:2 Y la mujer respondió a la serpiente: Del fruto de los árboles del huerto podemos comer;
3:3 pero del fruto del árbol que está en medio del huerto dijo Dios: No comeréis de él, ni le tocaréis, para que no muráis.
3:4 Entonces la serpiente dijo a la mujer: No moriréis;
3:5 sino que sabe Dios que el día que comáis de él, serán abiertos vuestros ojos, y seréis como Dios, sabiendo el bien y el mal.
3:6 Y vio la mujer que el árbol era bueno para comer, y que era agradable a los ojos, y árbol codiciable para alcanzar la sabiduría; y tomó de su fruto, y comió; y dio también a su marido, el cual comió así como ella.
3:7 Entonces fueron abiertos los ojos de ambos, y conocieron que estaban desnudos; entonces cosieron hojas de higuera, y se hicieron delantales.
3:8 Y oyeron la voz de Jehová Dios que se paseaba en el huerto, al aire del día; y el hombre y su mujer se escondieron de la presencia de Jehová Dios entre los árboles del huerto.
3:9 Mas Jehová Dios llamó al hombre, y le dijo: ¿Dónde estás tú?
3:10 Y él respondió: Oí tu voz en el huerto, y tuve miedo, porque estaba desnudo; y me escondí. 3:11 Y Dios le dijo: ¿Quién te enseñó que estabas desnudo? ¿Has comido del árbol de que yo te mandé no comieses?
3:12 Y el hombre respondió: La mujer que me diste por compañera me dio del árbol, y yo comí. 3:13 Entonces Jehová Dios dijo a la mujer: ¿Qué es lo que has hecho? Y dijo la mujer: La serpiente me engañó, y comí.
3:14 Y Jehová Dios dijo a la serpiente: Por cuanto esto hiciste, maldita serás entre todas las bestias y entre todos los animales del campo; sobre tu pecho andarás, y polvo comerás todos los días de tu vida.
3:15 Y pondré enemistad entre ti y la mujer, y entre tu simiente y la simiente suya; ésta te herirá en la cabeza, y tú le herirás en el calcañar.
3:16 A la mujer dijo: Multiplicaré en gran manera los dolores en tus preñeces; con dolor darás a luz los hijos; y tu deseo será para tu marido, y él se enseñoreará de ti.
3:17 Y al hombre dijo: Por cuanto obedeciste a la voz de tu mujer, y comiste del árbol de que te mandé diciendo: No comerás de él; maldita será la tierra por tu causa; con dolor comerás de ella todos los días de tu vida.
3:18 Espinos y cardos te producirá, y comerás plantas del campo.
3:19 Con el sudor de tu rostro comerás el pan hasta que vuelvas a la tierra, porque de ella fuiste tomado; pues polvo eres, y al polvo volverás.
3:20 Y llamó Adán el nombre de su mujer, Eva, por cuanto ella era madre de todos los vivientes. 3:21 Y Jehová Dios hizo al hombre y a su mujer túnicas de pieles, y los vistió.

3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, "Yes, has God said, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?'" 3:2 The woman said to the serpent, "Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat,
3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'"
3:4 The serpent said to the woman, "You won't surely die,
3:5 for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
3:6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit of it, and ate; and she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7 Both of their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
3:8 They heard the voice of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.
3:9 Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"
3:10 The man said, "I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."
3:11 God said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
3:12 The man said, "The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
3:13 Yahweh God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
3:14 Yahweh God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above every animal of the field. On your belly shall you go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel."
3:16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. In pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."
3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you have listened to your wife's voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.
3:18 Thorns also and thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the field. 3:19 By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return."
3:20 The man called his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
3:21 Yahweh God made coats of skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them. 3:22 Yahweh God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he put forth his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever..." 3:23 Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

3.5 mais Dieu sait que, le jour où vous en mangerez, vos yeux s'ouvriront, et que vous serez comme des dieux, connaissant le bien et le mal.
3.6 La femme vit que l'arbre était bon à manger et agréable à la vue, et qu'il était précieux pour ouvrir l'intelligence; elle prit de son fruit, et en mangea; elle en donna aussi à son mari, qui était auprès d'elle, et il en mangea.
3.7 Les yeux de l'un et de l'autre s'ouvrirent, ils connurent qu'ils étaient nus, et ayant cousu des feuilles de figuier, ils s'en firent des ceintures.
3.8 Alors ils entendirent la voix de l'Éternel Dieu, qui parcourait le jardin vers le soir, et l'homme et sa femme se cachèrent loin de la face de l'Éternel Dieu, au milieu des arbres du jardin.

3.10 Il répondit: J'ai entendu ta voix dans le jardin, et j'ai eu peur, parce que je suis nu, et je me suis caché.
3.11 Et l'Éternel Dieu dit: Qui t'a appris que tu es nu? Est-ce que tu as mangé de l'arbre dont je t'avais défendu de manger?
3.12 L'homme répondit: La femme que tu as mise auprès de moi m'a donné de l'arbre, et j'en ai mangé.
3.13 Et l'Éternel Dieu dit à la femme: Pourquoi as-tu fait cela? La femme répondit: Le serpent m'a séduite, et j'en ai mangé.
3.14 L'Éternel Dieu dit au serpent: Puisque tu as fait cela, tu seras maudit entre tout le bétail et entre tous les animaux des champs, tu marcheras sur ton ventre, et tu mangeras de la poussière tous les jours de ta vie.

3.19 C'est à la sueur de ton visage que tu mangeras du pain, jusqu'à ce que tu retournes dans la terre, d'où tu as été pris; car tu es poussière, et tu retourneras dans la poussière.
3.20 Adam donna à sa femme le nom d'Eve: car elle a été la mère de tous les vivants.
3.21 L'Éternel Dieu fit à Adam et à sa femme des habits de peau, et il les en revêtit.
3.22 L'Éternel Dieu dit: Voici, l'homme est devenu comme l'un de nous, pour la connaissance du bien et du mal. Empêchons-le maintenant d'avancer sa main, de prendre de l'arbre de vie, d'en manger, et de vivre éternellement.

4:1 The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, "I have gotten a man with Yahweh's help."
4:2 Again she gave birth, to Cain's brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
4:3 As time passed, it happened that Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground.
4:4 Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat of it. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,
4:5 but he didn't respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.
4:6 Yahweh said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen? 4:7 If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don't do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it."
4:8 Cain said to Abel, his brother, "Let's go into the field." It happened, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.
4:9 Yahweh said to Cain, "Where is Abel, your brother?" He said, "I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?"
4:10 Yahweh said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground.
4:11 Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
4:12 From now on, when you till the ground, it won't yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth."
4:13 Cain said to Yahweh, "My punishment is greater than I can bear.
4:14 Behold, you have driven me out this day from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. It will happen that whoever finds me will kill me."
4:15 Yahweh said to him, "Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold." Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should strike him.
4:16 Cain went out from Yahweh's presence, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 4:17 Cain knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
4:18 To Enoch was born Irad. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.
4:19 Lamech took two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 4:20 Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have cattle. 4:21 His brother's name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe. 4:22 Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron. Tubal Cain's sister was Naamah.
4:23 Lamech said to his wives, "Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice, You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, For I have slain a man for wounding me, A young man for bruising me.
4:24 If Cain will be avenged seven times, Truly Lamech seventy-seven times."
4:25 Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth. For, she said, "God has appointed me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him."
4:26 There was also born a son to Seth, and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on Yahweh's name.

5.24 Hénoc marcha avec Dieu; puis il ne fut plus, parce que Dieu le prit.

5.26 Metuschélah vécut, après la naissance de Lémec, sept cent quatre-vingt deux ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
5.27 Tous les jours de Metuschélah furent de neuf cent soixante-neuf ans; puis il mourut.
5.28 Lémec, âgé de cent quatre-vingt-deux ans, engendra un fils.
5.29 Il lui donna le nom de Noé, en disant: Celui-ci nous consolera de nos fatigues et du travail pénible de nos mains, provenant de cette terre que l'Éternel a maudite.

Capítulo 6
La maldad de los hombres
6:1 Aconteció que cuando comenzaron los hombres a multiplicarse sobre la faz de la tierra, y les nacieron hijas,
6:2 que viendo los hijos de Dios que las hijas de los hombres eran hermosas, tomaron para sí mujeres, escogiendo entre todas.
6:3 Y dijo Jehová: No contenderá mi espíritu con el hombre para siempre, porque ciertamente él es carne; mas serán sus días ciento veinte años.
6:4 Había gigantes en la tierra en aquellos días, y también después que se llegaron los hijos de Dios a las hijas de los hombres, y les engendraron hijos. Estos fueron los valientes que desde la antigüedad fueron varones de renombre.
6:5 Y vio Jehová que la maldad de los hombres era mucha en la tierra, y que todo designio de los pensamientos del corazón de ellos era de continuo solamente el mal.
6:6 Y se arrepintió Jehová de haber hecho hombre en la tierra, y le dolió en su corazón.
6:7 Y dijo Jehová: Raeré de sobre la faz de la tierra a los hombres que he creado, desde el hombre hasta la bestia, y hasta el reptil y las aves del cielo; pues me arrepiento de haberlos hecho.
6:8 Pero Noé halló gracia ante los ojos de Jehová.
Noé construye el arca
6:9 Estas son las generaciones de Noé: Noé, varón justo, era perfecto en sus generaciones; con Dios caminó Noé.
6:10 Y engendró Noé tres hijos: a Sem, a Cam y a Jafet.
6:11 Y se corrompió la tierra delante de Dios, y estaba la tierra llena de violencia.
6:12 Y miró Dios la tierra, y he aquí que estaba corrompida; porque toda carne había corrompido su camino sobre la tierra.
6:13 Dijo, pues, Dios a Noé: He decidido el fin de todo ser, porque la tierra está llena de violencia a causa de ellos; y he aquí que yo los destruiré con la tierra.

6:16 Una ventana harás al arca, y la acabarás a un codo de elevación por la parte de arriba; y pondrás la puerta del arca a su lado; y le harás piso bajo, segundo y tercero.
6:17 Y he aquí que yo traigo un diluvio de aguas sobre la tierra, para destruir toda carne en que haya espíritu de vida debajo del cielo; todo lo que hay en la tierra morirá.
6:18 Mas estableceré mi pacto contigo, y entrarás en el arca tú, tus hijos, tu mujer, y las mujeres de tus hijos contigo.

Chapter 6

6:1 It happened, when men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,
6:2 that God's sons saw that men's daughters were beautiful, and they took for themselves wives of all that they chose.
6:3 Yahweh said, "My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; yet will his days be one hundred twenty years."
6:4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God's sons came to men's daughters. They bore children to them: the same were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
6:5 Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6:6 Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart. 6:7 Yahweh said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground; man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them."
6:8 But Noah found favor in Yahweh's eyes.
6:9 This is the history of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.
6:10 Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
6:11 The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
6:12 God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
6:13 God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
6:14 Make an ark of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ark, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.
6:15 This is how you shall make it. The length of the ark will be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
6:16 You shall make a roof in the ark, and to a cubit shall you finish it upward. You shall set the door of the ark in the side of it. You shall make it with lower, second, and third levels.
6:17 I, even, I do bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.
6:18 But I will establish my covenant with you. You shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.
6:19 Of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.
6:20 Of the birds after their kind, of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort shall come to you, to keep them alive.
6:21 Take with you of all food that is eaten, and gather it to you; and it will be for food for you, and for them."
6:22 Thus Noah did. According to all that God commanded him, so he did.

6.1 Lorsque les hommes eurent commencé à se multiplier sur la face de la terre, et que des filles leur furent nées,
6.2 les fils de Dieu virent que les filles des hommes étaient belles, et ils en prirent pour femmes parmi toutes celles qu'ils choisirent.
6.3 Alors l'Éternel dit: Mon esprit ne restera pas à toujours dans l'homme, car l'homme n'est que chair, et ses jours seront de cent vingt ans.
6.4 Les géants étaient sur la terre en ces temps-là, après que les fils de Dieu furent venus vers les filles des hommes, et qu'elles leur eurent donné des enfants: ce sont ces héros qui furent fameux dans l'antiquité.
6.5 L'Éternel vit que la méchanceté des hommes était grande sur la terre, et que toutes les pensées de leur coeur se portaient chaque jour uniquement vers le mal.
6.6 L'Éternel se repentit d'avoir fait l'homme sur la terre, et il fut affligé en son coeur.
6.7 Et l'Éternel dit: J'exterminerai de la face de la terre l'homme que j'ai créé, depuis l'homme jusqu'au bétail, aux reptiles, et aux oiseaux du ciel; car je me repens de les avoir faits.
6.8 Mais Noé trouva grâce aux yeux de l'Éternel.
6.9 Voici la postérité de Noé. Noé était un homme juste et intègre dans son temps; Noé marchait avec Dieu.
6.10 Noé engendra trois fils: Sem, Cham et Japhet.
6.11 La terre était corrompue devant Dieu, la terre était pleine de violence.
6.12 Dieu regarda la terre, et voici, elle était corrompue; car toute chair avait corrompu sa voie sur la terre.
6.13 Alors Dieu dit à Noé: La fin de toute chair est arrêtée par devers moi; car ils ont rempli la terre de violence; voici, je vais les détruire avec la terre.
6.14 Fais-toi une arche de bois de gopher; tu disposeras cette arche en cellules, et tu l'enduiras de poix en dedans et en dehors.
6.15 Voici comment tu la feras: l'arche aura trois cents coudées de longueur, cinquante coudées de largeur et trente coudées de hauteur.
6.16 Tu feras à l'arche une fenêtre, que tu réduiras à une coudée en haut; tu établiras une porte sur le côté de l'arche; et tu construiras un étage inférieur, un second et un troisième.
6.17 Et moi, je vais faire venir le déluge d'eaux sur la terre, pour détruire toute chair ayant souffle de vie sous le ciel; tout ce qui est sur la terre périra.
6.18 Mais j'établis mon alliance avec toi; tu entreras dans l'arche, toi et tes fils, ta femme et les femmes de tes fils avec toi.
6.19 De tout ce qui vit, de toute chair, tu feras entrer dans l'arche deux de chaque espèce, pour les conserver en vie avec toi: il y aura un mâle et une femelle.
6.20 Des oiseaux selon leur espèce, du bétail selon son espèce, et de tous les reptiles de la terre selon leur espèce, deux de chaque espèce viendront vers toi, pour que tu leur conserves la vie.
6.21 Et toi, prends de tous les aliments que l'on mange, et fais-en une provision auprès de toi, afin qu'ils te servent de nourriture ainsi qu'à eux.
6.22 C'est ce que fit Noé: il exécuta tout ce que Dieu lui avait ordonné.

El diluvio

7:5 E hizo Noé conforme a todo lo que le mandó Jehová.
7:6 Era Noé de seiscientos años cuando el diluvio de las aguas vino sobre la tierra.
7:7 Y por causa de las aguas del diluvio entró Noé al arca, y con él sus hijos, su mujer, y las mujeres de sus hijos.
7:8 De los animales limpios, y de los animales que no eran limpios, y de las aves, y de todo lo que se arrastra sobre la tierra,
7:9 de dos en dos entraron con Noé en el arca; macho y hembra, como mandó Dios a Noé.

8:1 God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.
8:2 The deep's fountains and the sky's windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
8:3 The waters receded from off the earth continually. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters decreased.
8:4 The ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat's mountains.
8:5 The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
8:6 It happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made,
8:7 and he sent forth a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8:8 He sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the surface of the ground,
8:9 but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.
8:10 He stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark. 8:11 The dove came back to him at evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
8:12 He stayed yet another seven days, and sent forth the dove; and she didn't return to him any more.
8:13 It happened in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dried.
8:14 In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry. 8:15 God spoke to Noah, saying,
8:16 "Go forth from the ark, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you. 8:17 Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth."
8:18 Noah went forth, with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives with him.
8:19 Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went forth out of the ark.
8:20 Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
8:21 Yahweh smelled the sweet savor. Yahweh said in his heart, "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.
8:22 While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

Chapitre 8

8.1 Dieu se souvint de Noé, de tous les animaux et de tout le bétail qui étaient avec lui dans l'arche; et Dieu fit passer un vent sur la terre, et les eaux s'apaisèrent.
8.2 Les sources de l'abîme et les écluses des cieux furent fermées, et la pluie ne tomba plus du ciel.
8.3 Les eaux se retirèrent de dessus la terre, s'en allant et s'éloignant, et les eaux diminuèrent au bout de cent cinquante jours.
8.4 Le septième mois, le dix-septième jour du mois, l'arche s'arrêta sur les montagnes d'Ararat.
8.5 Les eaux allèrent en diminuant jusqu'au dixième mois. Le dixième mois, le premier jour du mois, apparurent les sommets des montagnes.
8.6 Au bout de quarante jours, Noé ouvrit la fenêtre qu'il avait faite à l'arche.
8.7 Il lâcha le corbeau, qui sortit, partant et revenant, jusqu'à ce que les eaux eussent séché sur la terre.
8.8 Il lâcha aussi la colombe, pour voir si les eaux avaient diminué à la surface de la terre.
8.9 Mais la colombe ne trouva aucun lieu pour poser la plante de son pied, et elle revint à lui dans l'arche, car il y avait des eaux à la surface de toute la terre. Il avança la main, la prit, et la fit rentrer auprès de lui dans l'arche.
8.10 Il attendit encore sept autres jours, et il lâcha de nouveau la colombe hors de l'arche.
8.11 La colombe revint à lui sur le soir; et voici, une feuille d'olivier arrachée était dans son bec. Noé connut ainsi que les eaux avaient diminué sur la terre.
8.12 Il attendit encore sept autres jours; et il lâcha la colombe. Mais elle ne revint plus à lui.
8.13 L'an six cent un, le premier mois, le premier jour du mois, les eaux avaient séché sur la terre. Noé ôta la couverture de l'arche: il regarda, et voici, la surface de la terre avait séché.
8.14 Le second mois, le vingt-septième jour du mois, la terre fut sèche.
8.15 Alors Dieu parla à Noé, en disant:
8.16 Sors de l'arche, toi et ta femme, tes fils et les femmes de tes fils avec toi.
8.17 Fais sortir avec toi tous les animaux de toute chair qui sont avec toi, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre: qu'ils se répandent sur la terre, qu'ils soient féconds et multiplient sur la terre.
8.18 Et Noé sortit, avec ses fils, sa femme, et les femmes de ses fils.
8.19 Tous les animaux, tous les reptiles, tous les oiseaux, tout ce qui se meut sur la terre, selon leurs espèces, sortirent de l'arche.
8.20 Noé bâtit un autel à l'Éternel; il prit de toutes les bêtes pures et de tous les oiseaux purs, et il offrit des holocaustes sur l'autel.
8.21 L'Éternel sentit une odeur agréable, et l'Éternel dit en son coeur: Je ne maudirai plus la terre, à cause de l'homme, parce que les pensées du coeur de l'homme sont mauvaises dès sa jeunesse; et je ne frapperai plus tout ce qui est vivant, comme je l'ai fait.
8.22 Tant que la terre subsistera, les semailles et la moisson, le froid et la chaleur, l'été et l'hiver, le jour et la nuit ne cesseront point.

Pacto de Dios con Noé
9:1 Bendijo Dios a Noé y a sus hijos, y les dijo: Fructificad y multiplicaos, y llenad la tierra.
9:2 El temor y el miedo de vosotros estarán sobre todo animal de la tierra, y sobre toda ave de los cielos, en todo lo que se mueva sobre la tierra, y en todos los peces del mar; en vuestra mano son entregados.
9:3 Todo lo que se mueve y vive, os será para mantenimiento: así como las legumbres y plantas verdes, os lo he dado todo.
9:4 Pero carne con su vida, que es su sangre, no comeréis.
9:5 Porque ciertamente demandaré la sangre de vuestras vidas; de mano de todo animal la demandaré, y de mano del hombre; de mano del varón su hermano demandaré la vida del hombre.
9:6 El que derramare sangre de hombre, por el hombre su sangre será derramada; porque a imagen de Dios es hecho el hombre.
9:7 Mas vosotros fructificad y multiplicaos; procread abundantemente en la tierra, y multiplicaos en ella.
9:8 Y habló Dios a Noé y a sus hijos con él, diciendo:
9:9 He aquí que yo establezco mi pacto con vosotros, y con vuestros descendientes después de vosotros;
9:10 y con todo ser viviente que está con vosotros; aves, animales y toda bestia de la tierra que está con vosotros, desde todos los que salieron del arca hasta todo animal de la tierra.
9:11 Estableceré mi pacto con vosotros, y no exterminaré ya más toda carne con aguas de diluvio, ni habrá más diluvio para destruir la tierra.
9:12 Y dijo Dios: Esta es la señal del pacto que yo establezco entre mí y vosotros y todo ser viviente que está con vosotros, por siglos perpetuos:
9:13 Mi arco he puesto en las nubes, el cual será por señal del pacto entre mí y la tierra.
9:14 Y sucederá que cuando haga venir nubes sobre la tierra, se dejará ver entonces mi arco en las nubes.
9:15 Y me acordaré del pacto mío, que hay entre mí y vosotros y todo ser viviente de toda carne; y no habrá más diluvio de aguas para destruir toda carne.
9:16 Estará el arco en las nubes, y lo veré, y me acordaré del pacto perpetuo entre Dios y todo ser viviente, con toda carne que hay sobre la tierra.
9:17 Dijo, pues, Dios a Noé: Esta es la señal del pacto que he establecido entre mí y toda carne que está sobre la tierra.

Embriaguez de Noé
9:18 Y los hijos de Noé que salieron del arca fueron Sem, Cam y Jafet; y Cam es el padre de Canaán.
9:19 Estos tres son los hijos de Noé, y de ellos fue llena toda la tierra.
9:20 Después comenzó Noé a labrar la tierra, y plantó una viña;
9:21 y bebió del vino, y se embriagó, y estaba descubierto en medio de su tienda.
9:22 Y Cam, padre de Canaán, vio la desnudez de su padre, y lo dijo a sus dos hermanos que estaban afuera.
9:23 Entonces Sem y Jafet tomaron la ropa, y la pusieron sobre sus propios hombros, y andando hacia atrás, cubrieron la desnudez de su padre, teniendo vueltos sus rostros, y así no vieron la desnudez de su padre.
9:24 Y despertó Noé de su embriaguez, y supo lo que le había hecho su hijo más joven,
9:25 y dijo: Maldito sea Canaán; Siervo de siervos será a sus hermanos.
9:26 Dijo más: Bendito por Jehová mi Dios sea Sem, Y sea Canaán su siervo.
9:27 Engrandezca Dios a Jafet, Y habite en las tiendas de Sem, Y sea Canaán su siervo.
9:28 Y vivió Noé después del diluvio trescientos cincuenta años.
9:29 Y fueron todos los días de Noé novecientos cincuenta años; y murió.
